Common Format Problems

Here are several problems that can prevent the successful importation of a file into STRATEGY for Windows.

1. Blank First Line -- STRATEGY for Windows expects to see the column names on the first line.

2. Wrapped Rows – All of the information for a trial must appear in a single row.

3. Wrapped Columns – The rightmost columns are found under the left-hand columns. This is usually caused by using a print to file operation to create the ASCII file. Some applications will do this without making it clear if you use the “Save as Text” option.
