Printer Options

Use the standard Windows commands from the file menu to set up and print your documents.

Laser and ink jet printers offer superior print quality but these printers cannot print across the whole page. If you use one of these printers, you should take the following precautions to prevent unwanted column wrapping effects.

To print it out legibly on an ink jet or laser printer,

1. Open the file in a robust plain text editor like Wordpad (the default editor STRATEGY for Windows uses),

2. Select the entire document (Edit Menu) and reduce the font size to 8 points (Format Menu),

3. Set the Page Orientation in the Print Setup dialog box (File Menu) to Landscape (sideways).

4. Select Print from the File Menu.

While using the Help system you have access to the buttons (Printer Setup) and (Print) on the File Menu, with which to print out Help topics if you wish.
