X,Y List Format

The first column must contain your run order and must be called RUNORD.

By far the easiest way to create an XY list is to use STRATEGY for Windows. If you do this, everything is taken care for you.

If you have already run your experiment and collected your data with a different tool, you dont have to re-enter that data into STRATEGY for Windows. You can import it directly if you follow these rules:

The first row of your X,Y List must contain the Column Names. Row 2 and all other rows must contain numbers delimited with a space, tab, or return. Enter a period wherever the response value is missing.

STRATEGY for Windows can handle design files two billion cells by two billion cells if you have sufficient memory. Even if you have the minimum amount of memory necessary to run STRATEGY for Windows, you will find that the STRATEGY Spreadsheet will easily cope with as many columns or rows as you have budget for.
